Scranton, PA - Tonight's NJCAAE Valorant match was arguably our toughest matchup that we've ever had across both leagues that we compete in Valorant. The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats are a force to be reckoned with and they gave the Falcons a run for their money this evening. Tonight's best of 1 series was played out on Haven with Lackawanna College starting out on attack, as usual. Right away, the Falcons began to aggressively push onto site and make quick work of the defense. The Bobcats were only able to win 2 rounds on their defensive turn. At the side change, the score was 10-2 in the Falcon's favor. This is when Bryant & Stratton came to life and began to ruffle the Falcons' feathers on attack. The Bobcats mirrored the Falcons' aggressive pushes and won their first 5 attack rounds in a row. The Lackawanna College defense could not figure out how to stop the Bobcats and you could tell that they were getting nervous and losing their composure. Bryant & Stratton continued to put the pressure on the Falcons' defense and the match was an absolute barnburner for the remaining rounds. Luckily, Edwin "Axomaly" Acosta was popping off with Pheonix tonight. Axo dropped 39 kills while only falling to the Bobcats 12 times. While the Bobcats would pick up a few more rounds during their attack, luckily the Lackawanna College was able to finish the match in the 23rd round in order to seal tonight's victory.
