Jamestown, NY -Â Saturday was a day of firsts for the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team. Their 88-83 victory over Jamestown Community College was their first win of the 2021 campaign, the first collegiate coaching victory for their head coach
Landon Gabriel and it was the first college game for
Sean Emfinger who went on to lead the Falcons in scoring with 21 points.
Four additional Falcons contributed double-digit performances to Lackawanna's first win almost two years.
Malik Smith total 15 while
Nashawn Johnson and
David Pope each netted 14. Ahmir Elizy was the last of the group with 11 points.
Before returning to Scranton, Lackawanna will play one more contest tomorrow as they travel to Niagara County Community College. That game will tip-off at 3:00 PM.Â
