SCRANTON, Pa. -- The Lackawanna College Overwatch team fell 3-0 to Northeastern University on Monday night in their final NACE match for the 2021 season.

The first map of the night was Nepal, and the Falcons started quickly, diving onto the point. The Huskies got the edge, however, beating back the Falcon attack and taking the first map to make it 1-0.

The second map choice was Hollywood. The Falcons were on the attack first, and despite their attempts to penetrate the defense, the Huskies stonewalled and frustrated Lackawanna College, not allowing them to gain any traction. When the Falcons took their turn on defense, Northeastern showed great coordination to capture the first point and seal the second map win, making it 2-0.

On the final map of the night, the Falcons selected Havana. Once again, on the Falcons attacking round, they were met with great resistance from the Huskies, who managed to hold Lackawanna before the first escort point. Northeastern then made quick work on their attacking round, pushing past the limit, taking the map and the match 3-0.
 
Lackawanna College has a tough run in the NACE Fall season and unfortunately with tonight's loss, their NACE season comes to a close. However, the Falcons remain undefeated in the NJCAAE and will be back on-stream Friday, 11/5 versus Northwest College at 6:00pm ET.
