SCRANTON, Pa. -- The Lackawanna College Esports Program is teaming up with local gaming bar, Bartari, to host an Extra Life charity event in November, benefiting the Children's Miracle Network.

The event is schedule for Sunday, November 7th, from 11am to 11pm at Bartari, on 101 Adams Avenue in downtown Scranton. 

Extra Life is a program of the Children's Miracle Network that has raised over $87 million for sick and injured children. Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.

The Esports program will be streaming a variety of games all day from Bartari, while the bar itself hosts their Quarters for Kids fundraiser. All proceeds and donations from both events will benefit the Janet Weis Children's Hospital  in Danville, through the Children's Miracle Network.
 
There will be raffles and giveaways live on site at Bartari, and the event will be streaming live on the Lackawanna College Esports Twitch channel (twitch.tv/lackawannaedu) for those who can't make it in person, but still want to follow along, play with the Esports team, and donate to a good cause.
