SCRANTON, Pa. – The Lackawanna College Esports Overwatch squad fell to their Carleton University counterparts on Monday night in NACE action.

The match's first map was Ilios, and right from the get-go the Falcons dove onto the point. Both teams took the counter to the limit, but the Ravens managed to seize momentum, and eventually got the edge and took the first map for a 1-0 match lead.

The second map choice was Eichenwalde. On the Lackawanna attacking round, the Falcons were held just shy of the second capture point. When roles reversed, Carleton battled the Falcons hard, and both teams made it a slog to get to the first point, but Carleton managed to break through and, eventually, capture the first point. From there, the Ravens pushed forward and got past the second capture spot that had stymied the Falcons, earlier. That earned the Ravens a 2-0 match lead.

Lackawanna College selected Rialto for the third map of the match. The Falcons got to attack first, but the Ravens' defense held firm, not allowing Lackawanna to even get to the first escort point on the map. Carleton, on their offensive turn, made quick work of the Falcon defense, working quickly to push past the limit, which gave them the map victory and the 3-0 match winner.

Lackawanna College Esports Overwatch will be back in action this Friday when the Falcons take on Salt Lake Community College in NJCAAE action. That match starts at 6:00pm, and you can watch it via the Lackawanna College Esports Twitch stream.
