Randolph, NJ – The Lackawanna College Women's Volleyball team played their final match of the 2021 season, falling in a 3-0 sweep (25-6, 25-8, 25-11) to County College of Morris on Thursday night in New Jersey.
Â
The match was the sixth in four days for the women's volleyball team, who fit in two doubleheaders around the two singular matches with Morris, this past week.
Â
The Falcons (0-10) got a kill from
Breonna Pollack off an assist from
Paetan Benson, while
Sydney Kostick had a service ace during the match. Kostick also had a pair of digs, while
Sharon Tulenan added a dig of her own.
Â
Lackawanna College completes their first season since 2019, having missed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the overall record, the Falcons showed marked improvement in the 2021 season, and never gave in through a tough campaign, putting down a foundation that will hopefully be something the program can build on.
