Quinn Buffington erased what the Snappers put on the scoreboard, when he hit a 3-run homer over the left field wall, putting the Falcons up, 14-3. They would enjoy a 16-5 lead, but Spoon River came alive and scored 8 straight runs to trim the Falcons' lead to 16-13, in the 5th inning. Spoon River scored again in the 6th inning to get within 1 run. However, Lackawanna was able to hold off the rally, and out score Spoon River 6-2 to come away with the win, 22-17.
