Scranton, PA - The Falcons fell 0-3 in tonight's NACE Overwatch Fall Cup matchup against the DeSales Bulldogs. Lackawanna College came out strong in the opening team fight on the first map, but DeSales was able to adapt very quickly and turn the tables. After taking an early lead on the first map, the Bulldogs did not let up on the Falcons and continued to push them off the point. On the second map, the Falcons were able to hold the payload for just enough time for
Nathan Ayers, aka Quakin, to get a triple-kill Play of the Game. That was still not enough and DeSales ended up taking the second map as well going up 2-0 in this best of three series. The third map, King's Row, was selected by the Falcons in hopes of getting a team push advantage, but it seemed to work in DeSales favor as they did not let Lackawanna College past the first choke point. Once the Bulldogs took over on offense they sealed the deal by pushing right past the Falcons and secured the point which ultimately secured them the 3-0 victory. GGs all around. The Lackawanna College Falcons' Overwatch team moves to 1-2 in the NACE Overwatch Fall Cup after tonight's loss.
