Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Sunday, the Lackawanna College Men's Wrestling team traveled down the road to Wilkes-Barre to participate in the John Reese Duals at Wilkes University. The Duals consisted of 3 rounds, with a total of 8 schools participating in the matches. The Falcons drew 3 NCAA Division III opponents, Penn State-Behrend in the 1st round, Rochester Institute of Technology in the 2nd and Springfield College in the 3rd and final round.
Against Penn State-Behrend, Lackawanna came away with a very close win 28-24.
Jayden Bortz's win by fall in the 2
nd to last match, helped allow the Falcons secure the victory. The Final Match results are as follows:

nd round, Lackawanna ran into a very talented Rochester Institute of Technology squad. The Tigers came into the match ranked #19 in the NCAA (Division III) and proved to be too much for the Falcons, taking the match 54-0. However, this was a good opportunity for Lackawanna to face a top 4-year program. The Final Match results are as follows:
