Scranton, PA: Saturday afternoon, The Lackawanna College Men's Soccer team lost its Region XIX Division I opener to Mercer County Community College by a score of 8-1. The Vikings held Lackawanna scoreless in the first half while putting four scores on the scoreboard. However, Lackawanna spoiled the shutout in the second half when Usher George scored on a break away goal with 27:06 left in the game.

The Falcons play again tomorrow when the travel to Jenkintown, Pennsylvania to take on the Blue Jays of Manor College. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
