Nanticoke, PA – In its second meet since Eileen Sempa took over as the program's head coach, the Lackawanna College Men's Cross Country team claimed a first place finish in the Luzerne County Community College Invitational. Although the Falcons' best finish was third place, they combined their times to claim the victory
Together, the Lackawanna runners finished as follows: Kevin Fowler 3rd place, Benson Quiyea 12th place, Miguel Salvador 13th place, Azzon Ogden 14th place and Christian Krause 19th place.
Lackawanna races again next Saturday, when they travel to Newark Delaware to participate in the University of Delaware Invitational at White Clay Creek State Park. The race is scheduled for a 10:00 A.M. start.
