Nanticoke, PA – Over the years, the Lackawanna College athletic program has collected a number of championships. This afternoon, the College can add another one to its trophy case. The Falcons Men's Cross Country team captured the Team Title today at the EPAC Cross Country Championships. It was a dominant performance by Lackawanna as they placed 4 runners is the top 20. Kevin Fowler led the way by finishing 3rd overall with a time of 28:39, followed by Miguel Salvador in 10th place (30:41), Benson Quiyea in 13th place (31:15) and Azzon Ogden in 17th place (31:42). Christian Krause also put in a great showing and was one spot out of the top 20, finishing in 21st place, with a time of 33:18.
Lackawanna College will now turn its focus to the Region XIX Championships next week in Newark, DE. The Championships will take place on 10/26/19 at White Clay Creek State Park.
