New Jersey – On Sunday 11/10, The Lackawanna College Women's Volleyball team faced Mercyhurst North East in the Northeast District Region XIX Semifinals.  The Lady Falcons went 1-1 the day before in pool play, to earn the spot in the next round.  Unfortunately, Mercyhurst proved to be too much for Lackawanna, as they would win the semifinal match by a score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-21).  In fact, later in the day the Saints went on to win the District Championship.  The Lady Falcons were led by Jamie Brann with 29 Digs, followed by Ethylne Lockhart who recorded 21 Digs. 

This season saw Lackawanna win their last 3 out of 4 matches of the regular season, earning them the #3 seed in tournament pool play.  Also, Amaya Townsend, Jamie Brann and Ethylne Lockhart were all selected to the EPAC All-Conference Teams, while Brann and Lockhart were #1 and #3 nationally in Digs/set.  Lockhart also finished #2 in the nation in hitting percentage at .433.
