Nick Csillan, a former Lackawanna College football player along the offensive line, was hired in March 2026 to coach the tight ends, ahead of the 2026 season.
Csillan, a towering 6-foot-7 offensive lineman for the Falcons in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, returns to Scranton after spending time at the University of Albany. Csillan committed to the Great Danes after the 2024 season, but had to medically retire following spring ball in 2025, and he has now transitioned into coaching.
Nick is a Hamilton, NJ native, and will take over a tight ends group that will look to continue to do what it always has: Anchor a strong rushing attack, as well as provide extra options for the Lackawanna passing game.
