Women's Head Wrestling Coach

Kate Fox

Kate Fox is in her second season as the assistant coach for Lackawanna College women's wrestling entering the 2025-2026 season.

Before her most recent stint, Fox was a member of the staff from 2018 through the 2021 season, helping coach John Fox launch the men's program and start the women's program at Lackawanna College.

Fox not only brings 16 years of coaching experience to the Falcons but will bring a strong understanding of the local recruiting, having graduated from both West Scranton High School and King’s College. She was a four-sport letter winner at West Scranton, lettering in women’s basketball, cheerleading, softball and cross-country. Fox then continued her softball and academic career at Kings College, where she started all four years, was a two-time All-Conference Selection, helped lead the team to four MAC championships, and four trips to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

Her most recent stint in coaching is with the Riverside High School Vikings girls’ softball program as head coach.

Fox graduated from West Scranton High School in 1999 and is a 2003 graduate of Kings College where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Presently, she is a 6th grade teacher at Northeast Intermediate School.
