Joe Paparelli continues his longstanding service to Lackawanna College Athletics as a part-time Athletics Special Assistant, providing valuable operational support and institutional knowledge to the department. In this role, Paparelli assists the Director of Athletics and administrative staff with a variety of functions, with a primary focus on compliance support, game day operations, and departmental logistics.
A retired and respected member of the Lackawanna College Athletics staff, Paparelli brings decades of experience in athletics administration and event management. His deep understanding of departmental processes and history allows him to effectively support compliance-related efforts, including documentation, monitoring, and administrative coordination, while ensuring adherence to conference and NCAA expectations.
Paparelli also plays an important role in game day management, assisting with event operations, staffing coordination, and on-site support to help ensure a smooth and professional experience for student-athletes, coaches, and spectators. His flexibility and willingness to support the department during peak periods, postseason competition, and special events make him a trusted and dependable resource.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Paparelli serves as a key institutional advisor, offering guidance and continuity to staff while reinforcing the department’s commitment to organization, accountability, and excellence.
