Madison McVicar is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Lackawanna College softball team in 2024.
McVicar made the transition from player to coach, after spending three seasons with the Falcons as a player from 2021 through 2023. McVicar accumulated 108 total hits, scoring 101 runs and driving in 68 RBI through her career. Her best season came in 2022, where she hit .359 and had 15 doubles, driving in 31 RBI. McVicar had a career OPS of 1.04, with a .457 OB%. She drew 53 walks in three years, and had 46 extra base hits, including ten career homeruns. McVicar spent most of her career in left field, where she committed just one error and had 91 put-outs.
Madison is a graduate of Valley View HS and a Blakely, PA native.
