    The transition supports the College's vision of expanding educational opportunities, creating a four-year athletics model, and enhancing the student-athlete experience. 

  • What conference will Lackawanna join?

    Lackawanna College has received an invitation to join the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

  • Can I receive NCAA athletic aid while Lackawanna is transitioning?

    Lackawanna College remains committed to providing scholarship opportunities and supporting student-athletes throughout the transition process.     Lackawanna College anticipates progressing through a multi-year NCAA Division II membership process. Based on the College's current transition timeline, full NCAA Division II membership is anticipated during the 2029-30 academic year. Eligibility for NCAA championships is tied to successful completion of the NCAA membership process and NCAA approval requirements.     Expanding academic opportunities is a key component of Lackawanna College's transition to a four-year institution. The College's acquisition and merger with Peirce College expands the institution's ability to offer additional bachelor’s and master’s degree opportunities and strengthens the academic pathways available to future student-athletes.
