DUNMORE, Pa. – Lackawanna College women's soccer held firm through most of the first half, but a late Brookdale goal put the Falcons behind, and the visiting Jersey Blues eventually pulled away for the 4-0 win in non-region women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Schautz Stadium.
 
The Falcons (0-4-0) were outshot 28-8 on the day, and keeper Elizabeth DePrimo (Dunmore, PA) did her best, making several saves. The Jersey Blues (4-0-0) had four corner kicks to none for the Falcons. Peyton Butz (Pottsville, PA) and Melanie Shumway (Rome, PA) each recorded three shots for the Falcons.
 
Lackawanna College will be back to action next Saturday, September 27^th, with a road contest at Essex County College in West Caldwell, NJ. First kick is set for 12:00pm ET, and the game is the first of a doubleheader, with the men's teams playing afterwards at 2:00pm ET.
