About Lackawanna College
The Falcons (2-7) are on a seven-game slide, after getting swept in their three-game series with both Patrick & Henry CC and Harford CC. The losses to Harford were particularly tough last weekend, as Lackawanna lost a pair of one-run games in walk-off fashion. In game one, the Falcons rallied from two different deficits, coming back from down 4-1 and 8-4 to tie the game heading into the bottom half, only to see Harford walk it off with a sac fly. In game two, Lackawanna took a 7-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh, but the temperature had dropped 50 degrees over the course of the contest, and the wind was gusting near 50 miles per hour. Lackawanna's pitching collapsed in the adverse conditions, surrendering seven runs on six walks, a hit batter, and just one hit, a two-run double, which sealed the victory. You can read the full doubleheader recap HERE.
