About Delaware Tech CC
DTCC (7-11), similar to Lackawanna College, had a rough start to the season, dropping nine of its first ten games to start the year. Del Tech rounded into shape, however, winning six of its last eight games, the latest a 9-8 victory over RCSJ Cumberland on Tuesday. That was a game where Del Tech rallied from down 8-6 in the ninth inning. DTCC loaded the bases with nobody out against the Dukes thanks to a single, a double, and then a walk. A bases loaded walk forced one run in, then a fielder's choice got the first out at home. Del Tech tied the game when an error occurred on a ground ball to first, letting the tying run cross. That set it up for center fielder Quincy Martin to be the hero, blooping a single to right field to score the game-winning run and walk it off.

As a team this year, Del Tech is hitting .283 with a combined OPS of .833. DTCC has scored 128 runs, averaging 7.1 runs per contest.
