#7: Mowery Named All-American
In a year where Lackawanna College softball had plenty of highs and lows, center fielder Emmalee Mowery (Mechanicsburg, PA) provided an unquestioned high-watermark for 2025, as she was named as a 2025 NJCAA DII All-American. Mowery was named to the third-team, and she was the only Region XIX player chosen this past year.

Emmalee finished 2025 with a .440 batting average through 52 games and 70 total hits, placing her fourth in all of Region XIX, and third amongst Division II players. She also was fourth in the region in runs scored (61) and her 42 RBIs were tied for ninth in the region. Mowery led the region with 35 walks in 2025. Her 70 hits were tops on the Falcons, and she had team-highs in OPS (1.135), slugging (.597), OBP (.538), runs (61), doubles (16), XBHs (20), total bases (95), walks (35) and stolen bases (21). She had 23 multi-hit games and finished the season on a ten-game hitting streak. She finished the season with 115 putouts and just two errors in center field, posting .983 fielding percentage on the year.

She, alongside teammate Jillian Heimberger (Unionville, PA), earned a first-team All-Region XIX nod. Mia Scalese (Moscow, PA) was the third Falcon to earn an all-region selection, making the second team.

Mowery's selection marked the sixth time a Lackawanna College softball player had been named as an NJCAA All-American, and the first time since Colleen Cwalina was chosen in 2018. Mowery is the first outfield to be chosen as an All-American at Lackawanna College.
