FALCONS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK (4.10 – 4.16)
Congratulations to Lackawanna College Baseball student-athlete
KYLE SCOTT, our twenty-sixth Falcon Athlete of the Week for the 2022-2023 scholastic year! Last week, Kyle threw his best game of the year, striking out a season-high 14 batters in a game one win of a doubleheader at Monroe CC in Rochester on Friday afternoon. Scott allowed just two hits in five innings, striking out the side in all but one inning, and he closed out the 12-0 victory with three strikeouts in the fifth to end the game early. Kyle leads the Falcons' pitching staff this season with a 3.34 ERA and is 5-2 in eight starts this year. He's struck out 59 batters this year, a team-best, and has four games where he has struck out ten or more batters.
Scott is a third-year pitcher from Westminster, MD. He will make an appearance on a future episode of Falcons Corner, which posts on Wednesdays on the Lackawanna College Athletics YouTube Channel. Make sure to like/subscribe!
