LA PLUME, Pa. -- Lackawanna wrestling picked up right where it left off last year, winning its first dual of the season with a tight 27-24 victory over Keystone College on the road on Sunday afternoon in La Plume.
 
The Falcons (1-0) got competition victories from Evan Raposo (Sophomore; East Stroudsburg, PA) and Dylan Hogan (Sophomore; Bushkill, PA) at 157 lbs. and 165 lbs., respectively, while James Forsette (First Year; Scranton, PA) won a tight decision, 13-9, at 184 lbs. A few forfeit wins for Edward Lauritsen (First Year; Brodheadsville, PA) and Carlos Cruz (First Year; Catasaqua, PA) helped push the Falcons over the edge for the season-opening win.
 
Lackawanna continues its season with a dual this upcoming Saturday, November 11^th, at Wilkes University. The competition will start at 11:00am ET in Wilkes-Barre.
