STAFF REPORT

Wilkes Barre, PA - The Lackawanna College wrestling team took to the road again for the second straight week as they traveled down Interstate 81 to take on the Colonels of Wilkes University.  Unfortunately, the Falcons would fall to Wilkes 40-12 and are now 1-1 on the season.

Wilkes quickly jumped out to an early lead by winning the first 4 matches of the day all by technical fall. Lackawanna had two wins on the day with back to back pins from sophomores Evan Raposo at 157lbs and Dylan Hogan at 165lbs. Evan Raposo's pin came in the second period while Dylan Hogan pinned is opponent 1:18 into the first period.
Lackawanna College will look to regroup as they travel to Millersville University next weekend when they compete in the Shorty Hitchcock Open on November 18^th at 10:00am.
