Earlier this season, against RCSJ Gloucester, the Giants earned a 33-21 win over the Roadrunners. The dual, which happened at the Electric City Duals in November, was a wild one, which saw Keystone come back from an early 21-0 hole to run off the next 33 points for the win. Back on January 20
th, the Giants fell to Camden CC 53-6, and this past Thursday, Keystone lost to Bergen 36-21, as part of a tri-meet with the University of Scranton.
Â
The Giants and Falcons did wrestle together very early this season, in the Keystone Open. The Falcons went 5-5 in those individual match-ups.
Â
Keystone has a full roster of wrestlers, and have been more competitive at the heavier weight classes so far this season. Codi Bomboy and Dalten Klinges have been effective for the Giants at 165 and 157, respectively.
Â

After a tough first year, and then a year away due to the pandemic, Moore won eight duals last season, the first time since the 2016-2017 campaign that Keystone had eight wins. He had two wrestlers earn top-eight at the NCAA Mideast Regionals last year, earning All-Region. Coach Moore was previously an assistant with the University of Scranton, and was a part of the staff that got Scranton a school-record 15 wins in 2016. Before that, Moore was an outstanding wrestler for both Niagara County CC and SUNY Cortland. With Niagara, Moore was 44-5, and finished third at the NJCAA Wrestling Championships, earning All-American status. Then, at Cortland, he was the runner up at the DIII Northeast Regional Championships, and made the NCAA Championships as a result. Before college, he was a two-time PIAA medalist at Lackawanna Trail HS, before transferring to Johnson City HS in New York, where he was an undefeated state champion as a senior.
