The Lackawanna Student Union Gymnasium During the 2022 Lynett Memorial Basketball Tournament in December, With A Boys Basketball Game In Progress, and Several Fans In The Bleachers

The historic Lackawanna College Student Union Gymnasium is located at 500 Jefferson Avenue in Scranton, and is the home for both the Lackawanna College men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the Lackawanna College women's volleyball team and the Lackawanna College wrestling squad. The gym has undergone several major renovation projects since the College purchased the building in the early 2000's, including updates to the bleachers and seating, the floor, the lighting, the bathrooms and locker rooms, and much more.

Besides hosting Lackawanna College athletic events, the gymnasium is used internally by the College for student activities such as Intramurals and Graduation.

The Student Union Gymnasium is also host to the historic Lynett Memorial Basketball Tournament, a 70+ year high school basketball tournament held over the Christmas holidays in downtown Scranton. The Student Union has also hosted several Region XIX and NJCAA District Championships over the years, and has been a site for Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Assocation (PIAA) Basketball Playoff games.

Originally named the Catholic Youth Center, the Student Union has been home to many forms of entertainment over the course of its life in the Scranton area, including boxing, professional wrestling, concerts, semi-professional basketball, presidential visits, and more.

The Lackawanna Football team will play their home games at Scranton Memorial Stadium which is located on the campus of Scranton High School, about a one mile drive from Lackawanna College's Scranton location. For years, Memorial Stadium has been host to major high school and semi-professional football games, dating back nearly 80+ years. Memorial Stadium recently underwent an upgrade where the turf was refurbished, as well as the eight-lane rubber track that surrounds the field.

The Lackawanna College baseball team plays their home games at the Scranton High School Baseball which is located directly behind Scranton Memorial Stadium on the campus of Scranton High School.

The Lackawanna College softball team plays their home games at the Scranton High School Softball field, which is located on the corner of West Olive Street and Providence Road, directly across the street from the Scranton High School campus. Access and parking at the field is on West Olive Street adjacent to Taco Bell.

Schautz Stadium

Both the Lackawanna College men's and women's soccer teams play their home games at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore, PA. The turf field is is located approximately 1.5 miles from Lackawanna College in Scranton.

Falcon Fitness Center at the Lackawanna College Student Union

The Falcon Fitness Center houses a variety of cardio equipment, strength machines and free weights. The fitness center provides a safe environment where current students, faculty and staff can be physically active and work towards creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The Falcon Fitness Center is located on the main floor of the Student Union. The fitness center is free to all current Lackawanna College student, faculty, and staff with his/her ID.
