Assistant Coach Josh Pardini 2024-2025

Josh Pardini

Josh Pardini has been a member of the Lackawanna College football staff since 2009, and the 2025 season will be his 17th year on staff for the Falcons.

Pardini started his career with Lackawanna College in 2009 as the tight ends coach, and hopped around to defensive backs, running backs, and then quarterbacks, before taking over as the offensive coordinator in 2015.

In his first season, Pardini saw the Falcons improve in nearly every statistical category in 2015. Lackawanna College went from 27.7 ppg (29th in the NJCAA) in 2014 to 48 ppg (6th NJCAA) in 2015, while also getting top ten ranks in rushing yards per game (250) and fourth down conversion (79%). The Falcons were 8-2 and Pardini had two offensive players make All-American.

In 2016, the Falcons were even better on offense, going 10-1 overall and compiling top-ten finishes in multiple offensive categories. They averaged 46.8 ppg (4th), 485.9 yards per game (9th), 255.9 rushing yards per game (5th), 50% on third downs (3rd), and 67% on fourth downs (5th), while throwing 32 touchdowns (5th) and rushing for 36 more (3rd). Pardini had three offensive All-Americans on that team.

After a slight dip in 2017, the offense rebounded in 2018, averaging 402.5 yards per game (13th) and scoring 38.5 points per contest (5th). The Falcons went undefeated, including a win in the El Toro Bowl against host Arizona Western, their first and only undefeated, untied season.

2019's team scored 42.5 points per game (4th) on its way to a 10-0 regular season and an appearance in the NJCAA National Championship game, where the Falcons fell to Mississippi Gulf Coast, 24-13. Pardini had five All-Americans on his offense that season.

In 2021, the Falcons finished 7-3, boosted by a passing attack that averaged 273 yards per game (8th NJCAA). The Falcons were one of the best teams in the country on third down (49%), and were third in the nation at 31 passing touchdowns on the season. Pardini had three All-Americans that season, including quarterback Barry Brown, who set a Lackawanna College single-season record with 2,435 yards passing in one year. He also threw 28 touchdown passes, second in Lackawanna history for a single-season.

In 2022, Pardini stepped back from his offensive coordinator responsibilities to take an administrative role in athletics, but stayed on as an offensive assistant and quarterbacks coach with the Falcons. He helped develop quarterback Hamas Duren into an honorable mention All-American in 2023. Duren finished 2023 with 1,974 yards, third all-time in Lackawanna College single-season history, while also throwing 23 touchdowns.

Since his ascendence to the OC role in 2015, Josh has helped the Falcons finish in the Top 10 nationally in nearly every major statistical category. While a member of the Falcons’ staff, Josh has coached future NFL stars, Mark Glowinski, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Jarell Broxton, Jermaine Eluemunor, and 2019 fourth round pick Trevon Wesco (NYJ).

Prior to his arrival at Lackawanna, Josh was the Offensive Coordinator and Backfield Coach at Greater Nanticoke Area HS.

Pardini is a northeast PA native, earning a pair of Associate degrees from Luzerne County CC in Culinary Arts/Chef Training and Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Mangement. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from American Public University.
