(Randolph, NJ) – Lackawanna College Volleyball played in a Tri-match Saturday afternoon against Delaware Technical CC and County College of Morris. The Falcons dropped Game 1 against Del Tech 3-1 (D25-17, L25-23, D25-23, D25-15) and lost Game 2 vs Morris 3-2 (L25-19, M25-13, M25-23, L25-17, M16-14). The Falcons record now rests at 10-12.
The Falcons managed to stay close against Del Tech. The first set saw the Falcons lose 25-17 but they came back 25-23 to even up the match 1-1. Del Tech took a close 3rd set 25-23 and was then able to walk away in set 4 (25-15) to finish off the match 3-1.
Jordan Skoff – 9 kills, 8 solo blocks, 16 digs
Keryne Brostoski – 4 kills, 14 digs
Game 2 vs County College of Morris was a closer game for Lackawanna. The Falcons won the first set 25-19. Jordan Skoff put up 5 kills with assists by Keryne Brostoski, Amaya Townsend, and Stefanie Peck. The Falcons would drop the next two sets 25-13 and 25-23 to give Morris a 2-1 lead. Lackawanna staged a comeback in the 4th set, winning 25-17. Skoff would record 8 kills in set 4. The final set came down to just a few serves, as Morris edged Lackawanna 16-14 to clinch the match 3-2.

The Region XIX Volleyball Tournament will be held on November 3rd and 4th at Lackawanna College inside the Student Union. Seeding for the tournament will be determined after a conference meeting on October 29th.
