The 3rd quarter only saw Lackawanna score 6 points in the first 7 minutes of the 10-minute period. The Lady Falcons struggled with their shooting all night; they averaged only 25% from the floor. Even though Lackawanna wasn't able to keep up offensively, they held tight on defense and rebounds. Union led 48-43 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Poor shooting eventually caught up to the Lady Falcons as Union would start sinking more of their shots to spread open the lead. The Lady Falcons had opportunities to claw back from the free throw line but they went 14-24. Lackawanna will usually rely on their long range shots as well but only knocked down 3-18 of their 3-pointers. Midway through the 4th quarter, the Owls created a 10-point lead and were able to continue expanding it as the final buzzer drew closer. Union CC won 69-55.
