(North East, MD) – Lackawanna College fell to Cecil College 88-81 Wednesday night. This loss drops their record to 7-6 (4-2).
The last game before winter break did not go the Falcons way. They played without two of their usual starters, Keyon Faulkner-Smith and Nikhi Barnes. The first half saw Talek Williams and Ransford Agyeman score 9 points apiece. Cecil College led at halftime 37-31.
The determining factor in the second half was rebounding. Cecil College was able to beat Lackawanna on the boards, grabbing 27 total rebounds over the Falcon's 13. Although Lackawanna shot better than Cecil in the 2nd half, Cecil recorded 21 points from the free throw line to even out the half. Cecil College defeated Lackawanna College 88-81.
