  • Lackawanna College Basketball Sponsors Annual Golf Tournament

    The Lackawanna College Basketball Team will hold its annual Golf Tournament on Friday, October 18th at Glenmaura National Golf Club located at 100 Glenmaura National Blvd, Moosic, PA 18507. The tournament will be played using a Shamble format. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Lackawanna College Basketball Program.

    Ephraim UT: After being dropped from 8th place to 9th in the most recent NJCAA poll behind three teams  with losses and after beating Wagner Junior Varsity 55-0, the Lackawanna College Football team traveled west to play #7 Snow College and to make a point. That point was that East Coast teams could play with anyone in the nation. The Falcons accomplished what they set out to prove by beating Snow 17-6
  • Lackawanna Volleyball splits EPAC Tri Match

    Scranton, PA: Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team split its Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Tri Match, losing to Montgomery County Community College in five games, before beating Luzerne County Community College in three. The Falcons lost the first, third and final set against Montgomery by scores of 25-20, 25-15 and 17-15, while winning in set two and four 25-18 and 25-23. Against Luzerne, Lackawanna took three consecutive sets by scores of 25-12, 25-14 and 25-13.

  • Lackawanna Defeated in Intercounty Contest

    Hazelton, PA – The Lackawanna College Women’s Soccer team fell to PSU – Hazelton in a intercounty contest. The Lions outscored Lackawanna by a 4-2 score. PSU tallied the initial three goals of the game in the first half. In the second period, Lackawanna scored twice to narrow the Lions lead to one, before Hazelton scored late in the period to clinch the win.

    Bryn Mawr, PA:  Tuesday night, the Lackawanna College Volleyball team dropped its Region XIX Division II opener to Harcum College. Harcum beat the Falcons in three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-15.

  • Lackawanna takes Season Opener with 55 – 0 Win over Wagner JV

    Staten Island, NY. – The Lackawanna College Football team started their season in an impressive way, outscoring the Wagner College Junior Varsity team 55-0. However, the manner in which they started their scoring was even more impressive. On the opening kickoff, Delvin Palmer took the kick on his own five-yard line and scooted 95 yards for a touchdown. It was the first time he touched a ball in a college game.

    Scranton, PA: Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Women’s Soccer team dropped their season opener to Hagerstown Community College by a 4-3 score. The Falcons led early scoring two goals in the first half while holding the Hawks scoreless. Unfortunately for Lackawanna, Hagerstown outscored the Falcons 4-1 in the second half, to claim the victory.

    Scranton, PA: Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Men’s Soccer team kicked off their 2019 season with a 4-1 win over Hagerstown Community College. At the end of the opening period, both Lackawanna and the Hawks were tied with one goal each. However in the second half, Lackawanna’s Marcelus Bonney caught fire and scored three goals to lead the Falcons to their victory.
