(SCRANTON, PA) Lackawanna College lost their match 3-0 against Bucks County Community College Tuesday evening. They dropped three straight sets, 25-21, 25-22, and 25-22. This loss marks the fourth loss of the season, their record stands at 1-4.
During the first set Bucks County CC took their largest lead of the game 14-5. The Falcons would battle back to one point to make it 19-18. Jordan Skoff put together 4 kills, alongside 3 assists from Brenda Reninga but Bucks County CC was able stay ahead, taking the first set 25-21.
From there the Falcons didn't let Bucks out of their sight. The second set was dominated by a back and forth between both teams. Service Aces from Brostoski, Orlowski, and Reninga helped keep the momentum moving. It was tied 17-17 but as the set moved along the Bucks were able to edge out a 25-22 win in Set 2. Set 3 saw only 4 kills from the Lackawanna. They managed to keep it close but ultimately lost the final set 25-22

Falcons Volleyball will step on the court again for an away game Tri-Match on Saturday September 15th against Luzerne County Community College and Montgomery County Community College at 12pm. Their next home game will be Tuesday September 18th against Harcum College and Manor College for another Tri-Match at 7pm.
