Lady Falcons lose to Bucks

Scranton, PA: Thursday night, the Lackawanna College Volleyball lost to Bucks County Community College 3-0 in their Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference opener. The Lady Falcons suffered the 3-0 loss, being outscored by Bucks in three sets 25-19, 25-17 and 25-19.

Lackawanna's highlight players were Kayla Baney: with 11 kills, 11 assists and 8 digs; and Jordan Skoff: with 9 kills, 10 assists, 11 digs and an ace.

In commenting on the contest, head coach, James Hummer state, "Kayla found her stride tonight and played extremely well." He added, "We were forced to make some last minute changes to our lineup because of injuries and didn't get a chance to practice with that new lineup. But we have improved greatly from preseason and if we can stay healthy I think we can compete with the top teams in our conference."

The Lady Falcons return to play on Saturday when they travel to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to participate in a tri-march with Harrisburg Area Community College and Montgomery County Community College. That event is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
