Women’s Volleyball Inks Two For Fall 2017 Season

Lackawanna College head women's volleyball coach Jim Hummer is pleased to announce the signing of two student athletes for the upcoming school year. McKenna Reedy from Hanover Area High School will join the Falcon Family as well as Jordan Skoff from Blue Mountain High School.

Coach Hummer had this to say about the signing of McKenna, "McKenna is a hard worker and will bring a strong work ethic to our team. Last season we did not have a natural setter but with McKenna signing to play for us, we now have someone with experience in the setter position. I had the opportunity to coach McKenna at the high school level and I am looking forward to coaching her again at the college level. It's exciting when you see your high school players move on and play at the collegiate level, it's even more special to have the opportunity to work with them again at the that level."

Jordan Skoff is a multi-sport athlete from Blue Mountain High school. Along with volleyball, she will also be playing softball for the Falcons. Coach Hummer had this to say about Jordan, "Jordan is a tremendous athlete and will be playing two sports at Lackawanna College this coming season." He added, "She was part of an undefeated Blue Mountain team that went 13-0 and won the Schuylkill League last fall. I'm looking at her to be one of our leaders and bring intensity to our team next season."
