Lackawanna Falls Twice in EPAC Tri-Match

Bethlehem, PA - The Lady Falcons dropped both of their contests in today's Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference tri-match played at Northampton Community College. The Lady Falcons dropped their first match 3-0 losing all three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-14. In their second match, Lackawanna also loss to Harcum College in three sets losing by scores of 25-16, 26-24 and 25-18

Ashley Mescash was the Falcon's top performer in the opener with Northampton by recording 4 blocks and 2 kills. Miikayla Stange led the team in assists with 15, while Lataysia Pryor led in digs with 13 to go along with 4 kills.

In their night-cap the Lady Falcons recorded many notable performances. Carrie King had 33 digs and an ace. JennaVieve recorded 6 kills and 24 digs, while Lataysia Pryor also logged 6 kills to go along with her team high 34 digs. Mikayla Stange failed to score an ace or kill but did register a team best 19 assists to go along with her 11 digs and 2 blocks.

The loss to Harcum also counts against Lackawanna's Region XIX Division II record. With the defeat, the Lady Falcons now have a 1-2 win/loss record in Region.

Lackawanna plays again on Tuesday when they travel to Schnecksville, Pennsylvania to play Lehigh Carbon Community College. Tuesday's game starts at 7:00 PM.
