Soccer Players prove to be Multi-Talented

Three members of Lackawanna College's 2016 women's soccer team are making a difference. They are making presence felt on other Lackawanna teams during the 2016-2017 academic year.

Mackenzie McAndrew, the captain of the 2016 women's soccer team, stepped right onto Lackawanna's women's basketball team at the conclusion of her soccer season. Serving as a bench player on the team that advanced to the NJCAA DII Women's Basketball Nationals, McAndrew played in 21 games and contributed 35 points, 25 rebounds, 21 assist and 10 steals.

Paige Durkin, the 2016 goalkeeper, is now a member of the 2017 Lackawanna softball team. Playing in seven of the Lady Falcons first 10 games, she is hitting .333 and has a feeling average of .955.

Finally, Moriah Lynn, a midfielder on the soccer team, is hitting .429 for the softball team with 12 hits three of which were doubles and three more of which were triples. Lynn has a .750 slugging average.
