Lady Falcons fall to Montgomery

Blue Bell, PA – Tuesday afternoon, the Lackawanna College women's soccer team fell to Montgomery County Community College by a 3-0 score in an extremely competitive contest.

Effectively using the offside trap, the Lady Falcons defense proved to be as effective as they have been all season, as Paige Durkin recorded 14 saves. On offense, the Falcons put 5 shots on goal.

After the game, Lackawanna's head coach, Tory Pomeroy, said, "I am extremely proud of the way we played today. Everyone worked together and showed a lot of composure."

Lackawanna returns to the pitch again Saturday when the host Region XIX Division I rival, County College of Morris. Saturday's game is scheduled for 12:00 PM and will be played at Scranton Prep's Loyola Athletic Complex.
