Lackawanna Women's Soccer Team falls to Harcum

Bryn Mawr, PA: Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College women soccer team felt the Harcum College by an 8-0 score. With the defeat, the Lady Falcons are now 0-2 in Region XIX Division I play.

Despite the loss, Lackawanna's head coach, Tory Pomeroy, was pleased with her players efforts on an extremely hot and muggy Southeastern Pennsylvania day. She was especially happy with the performance of Paige Durkin, who recorded 12 saves in her debut as the Falcons goalkeeper. She also was delighted with midfielder, Moriah Lynn, who was credited with shots on goal and Shannon Kelly, who also had a shot on goal.

The Lady Falcons take the field again next Saturday, when they travel to West Windsor, New Jersey, to play the Lady Vikings of Mercer County Community College. Next Saturday's game is scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start.
