(Scranton, PA) – The Lady Falcons took to the court on Recovery Is Possible Night and scored a win against Region XIX opponent Raritan Valley CC 91-62. This win avenges a 79-74 loss earlier in the season for Lackawanna College. The Lady Falcons record now rests at 19-4 (11-3).
The first half was dominated by Briaunna McCullough's shooting skills. She scored 14 points including 3 three-pointers. The Lady Falcons' rebounding also played a major part in the first half; the team grabbed 31 total rebounds. Lackawanna led into halftime 48-25.
Rebounding helped the Lady Falcons along in the second half as well. The team finished with 59 total rebounds. Taylor-Rae Styles was able to record 10 rebounds on her way to a double-double as she scored 14 points as well. Lackawanna's Chyna Wooten, Taylor-Rae Styles, Briaunna McCullough, and Kyla Smith each scored double digits which helped Lackawanna go on to defeat Raritan Valley CC 91-62.
