(Randolph, NJ) – Tuesday night the Lackawanna College Women's Basketball team defeated County College of Morris 80-42. Their record is now 18-4 (10-3).
The 1st quarter got off to a quick start for Shaylah Green and the Lady Falcons defense. Green was able to score 6 points while the defense held Morris to just 7. The Lady Falcons led 17-7 after one quarter. The Lady Falcons worked the ball around to several different shooters, 7 players recorded points in the second quarter. Lackawanna took the halftime lead, 30-19.
The Lady Falcons broke out offensively after halftime, they scored 26 points in the 3rd quarter alone. Ciaira Loyd helped contribute to the growing lead with 8 points while Briaunna McCullough and Shaylah Green recorded a three-pointer each. The Lady Falcons would keep defense tight in the 4th quarter to finish off the game. Lady Falcons win 80-42.
