Lady Falcons Extend Their Win Streak to 15 games, Defeat Sullivan CC 67-53

(Scranton, PA) – The Lady Falcons took a 67-53 win over Sullivan County CC on Saturday afternoon. Their record now sits at 16-3 (9-2) and they extended their winning streak to 15 games.

The first half saw the Lady Falcons shoot well from free throw line. The team went 10-14, while Kyla Smith scored 5 of her 13 points from the charity stripe. Briaunna McCullough, Jasmine Lewis, and Chyna Wooten scored 18 combined points. Lackawanna walked into halftime with a 39-31 lead.

The Lady Falcons continued to hold their lead throughout the second half by shooting well. Kyla Smith poured on a handful of 3-pointers, finishing the day with 4. Sullivan County CC felt defensive pressure by Lackawanna throughout the game as well. Taylor-Rae Styles recorded 3 blocks late in the 4th quarter. Lady Falcons win 67-53.
