Lady Falcons Win Sixth Straight, Defeat CC of Morris 109-55

(Scranton, PA) – The Lackawanna Lady Falcons defeated County College of Morris on Saturday afternoon 109-55. Lackawanna improved their record to 7-3 (6-1).

The Lady Falcons just clicked during their last home game before the winter break. 12 separate players found their way into the scorebook, while Taylor-Rae Styles helped lead the way with 19 points. The Falcons created distance in the first quarter by shooting well, taking the lead 34-13. The second quarter didn't look different either, Lackawanna commanded a 60-27 lead at halftime.

The Lady Falcons found plenty of success later in the game from beyond the arc, netting 7 three-pointers in the second half. They would hit 12 three-pointers overall in the game. Lackawanna also shot very well from the free throw line, hitting 73% of their shots. Lackawanna defeated Morris 109-55.

Lackawanna's next game will be on the road against Chesapeake College on Tuesday December 18th at 4pm. Saturday's game was the last home match before winter break, the next time fans will have a chance to see their Lady Falcons inside the Student Union will be Saturday January 5th at 3pm against West Chester CC.
