Lackawanna keeps Title Hopes Alive with Win over RCBC

Pemberton, NJ: Led by Tearia Hartley's double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, the Lackawanna College Women's Basketball team claimed at 63-47 win over Rowan College of Burlington County. The win leaves the Lackawanna with a 17-1 Region XIX Division II win/loss record with two conferences games left. The Falcons can guarantee a tie for first place with Union County College by winning Thursday's game against Mercer County Community College and Saturday's home contest versus Manor College. Lackawanna can take sole possession of first place, if Union falls to Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday.

In addition to Hartley, Quieterriua Gross and Colleen Cwalina also made notable contributions to the win. Gross scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Cwalina had 9 points and 4 rebounds.

The Falcons finish their Region road schedule on Thursday, when they travel to West Windsor, New Jersey to take on Mercer County Community College. Thursday's game is scheduled for a 5:00 PM start.
