Scranton, PA – Alexandra Jackson's 30 points led the Lackawanna College women's basketball team to an important 77-70 win over Harcum College The win came in a highly contested game, which saw the teams trade leads 7 time, with the largest lead established in the first quarter when the Falcons led by 8 (19-11). The victory leaves Lackawanna with a conference win/loss record of 11-2 and within striking distance of first place in Region XIX Division II play. They trail Essex County College (12-2) by a half game.
In addition to Jackson's 30 points, Jasmine Williams contributed a double double of 10 points and a team high 16 rebounds. Also contributing with double digit scoring performance was Lindsey Dippre, who had 12 points for the game. Dippre was also the co-leader in assists with Jackson; each dished out 5.
The Lady Falcons return to play on Thursday when they host Region rival Raritan Valley Community College in Lackawanna's final regular season home game. Thursday's game is scheduled for a 5:00 PM tip-off.
