Lackawanna’s Sileo resigns to coach at Marietta College

Scranton, PA – The Lackawanna College Athletic Department announced that its women's basketball head coach, Kayla Sileo, has resigned in order to take a new position as an assistant on the Marietta College women's basketball staff.

Sileo leaves after spending three years at Lackawanna where she served two seasons as an assistant coach and another as its head coach. During the 2015-16 season, she led the Falcons to an 18-7 record.

In taking the position at Marietta, Sileo said, "I am thrilled to be the new assistant coach of the Marietta College women's basketball program. I consider this to be an outstanding opportunity. Marietta has a great foundation that has been laid by Coach Vivian and the previous staff, and I am looking forward to the challenge of building upon their successes and helping the Pioneers achieve the goal of winning a conference championship."
