Henderson signs Letter of Intent to attend Lock Haven

The Lackawanna College Athletic Department and its Women's Basketball program are honored to announce that Kayla Henderson has signed a Letter of Intent committing her to continue her playing career at NCAA DII School, Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Henderson will enter Lock Haven this fall on a full scholarship.

At Lackawanna Henderson was a two year participant. As starter for the Falcons this past season, She played 25 games and finished with 258 points, 112 assists and 153 rebounds; an average of 10.3 points 4.48 assists 6.1 rebounds per game.

In her 59 game career at Lackawanna, Henderson scored 626 points, dished out 189 assists and grabbed 386 rebounds. A career average of 11.6 points, 3.5 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game.

At the signing, Lackawanna's head women's basketball coach, Kayla Sileo, said, "Our coaching staff and team couldn't be more excited for Kayla. It has been an honor coaching and watching her grow the past two years, not only as a basketball player, but also as a person. She is a true competitor who loves the game and I know she will find great success at Lock Haven."
