Lackawanna Keeps Home Game Winning Streak Alive

Scranton, PA The Lackawanna College Women's Basketball team kept their home winning streak alive at nine (9) consecutive games, with a 66-27 victory over Mercer County Community College. Kwanza Murray spearheaded the Lady Falcons with 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Although Murray had the Falcons only double-digit night, Brianna Franklin did contribute 7 points with a team 11 rebounds. Colleen Walsh just missed a double digit night as she ended the contest with 9 points. Tiffany Then had an all-around night with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.

The Lady Falcons return to the court on Saturday when they host Burlington County College in their annual Sophomore Day, which this year coincides with their Pink Game. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 PM with the men's game to follow.
