Scranton, PA: Double-Double performances by Kayla Henderson and Ronisha Germany led the Lackawanna College Women's Basketball team to an easy 96-61 victory over County College of Morris, in the opener of its Region XIX Division II home schedule. Henderson was Lackawanna's top scorer with 19 points and recorded her double-double by combining those points with 10 rebounds. Germany took a different route to her double-double; she led Lackawanna in rebounds with 11 and tacked on 10 points.

Three other Lady Falcons scored double digits in the win. Kwanza Murray netted 15 points; while Siamya Mace contributed 12 and Tiffany Then added 10.  Darrian Johnson, Henderson and Then all had a team high 5 assists; while Murray led in steals with 6.

Lackawanna travels to Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania next Thursday to play intrastate rival Harcum College. In the past, the games played between these schools have gone a long way in determining the final seeding in the Region XIX DII Women's Basketball Tournament. Based on that history, this early season match-up has special significance to both these institutions; as a result a tight well played contest is anticipated. Game time for Thursday's game is 5:00 PM.
