  • Lackawanna’s Carr earns Region First Team Honors

    Newark DE: Sunday afternoon, a trio of Lackawanna College Cross Country runners participated in this years Region XIX Division II Cross Country Championships. The Falcons’ only female racer, Emily Carr, completed the Women’s Division I 5K race in 24:52.36 to take sixth place. Her finish earned her a position on the Region XIX Women’s Division I First Team.

    Lackawanna College competed in the Monroe Mustang Cross Country Invitational Friday afternoon.  Emily Carr and Justin Wolfe brought home medals for the Falcons.

    Emily Carr’s 23:18 finish in the Women’s 5k placed her 6th overall and 3rd among EPAC Runners.
  • Lackawanna XC Competes in Don Cathcart Invitational

    Salisbury, MD – Saturday, the Lackawanna College Cross Country team traveled to Salisbury Maryland to participate in the Salisbury University sponsored Don Cathcart Invitational. The Falcons’ best performance in the men’s 8 K race was contributed by Pete Tomasetti, who finished in 97th place with a time of 32:12.32. In the women’s 6 K race, the Falcons’ top runner was Samantha Parry. Parry recorded a time of 27:34.74, which placed her in 74th place.
  • Carr and Tomasetti lead NJCAA Runners in Cougar Classic

    Dallas, PA – Saturday, the Lackawanna College Cross Country team participated in the Misericordia University Cougar Classic. In that event, the Lackawanna running duo of Emily Carr and Pete Tomasetti were the top runners of the NJCAA competitors entered in the contest.
  • Lackawanna’s Carr finishes Eighth in Dukes Invitational

    Vineland, NJ - Lackawanna College started their 2018 Cross Country season by competing in the Cumberland Community College sponsored Dukes Invitational. Falcon Freshman, Emily Carr impressed in her college debut, by claiming an 8th place finish with a time of 24:18.90.
